Samsung Mobiles have launched their latest phone named as Samsung Galaxy S6 in the Nepalese market. The most awaited and the most advanced smartphone Samsung Galaxy S6 comes with many new features.
Let's discuss its features in brief.
The phone is powered with an Exynos 7420 CPU with Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & Quad-core 2.1 GHz Cortex-A57 -core processor. The volume keys are on the left edge and the power key is placed at the right edge while the 3.5mm port and micro-USB port sit at the bottom. The back features a camera lens, LED flash and some subtle branding. The back is not removable. The phone comes with a SIM ejector. The front of the phone sports a 5.1-inch display with white backlit navigation keys placed at the bottom. The buttons are responsive and offer decent tactile feedback. The phone seems durable, is solidly built and gives a premium feel.
Display:- The Samsung Galaxy S6 sports a 5.1-inch display with Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors with the resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (~577 ppi pixel density) The screen is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 for protection against scratches. The display is good with wide viewing angles. With excellent touch response, the under-sun legibility of the phone was good.
Software:- The Samsung Galaxy S6 runs Android 5.0.2 Lollipop and the user interface is very close to the previous smartphones from the SAMSUNG.
Camera:- The Samsung Galaxy S6 has an primary camera of 16 MP, 2988 x 5312 pixels. The camera features optical image stabilization, autofocus, LED flash, Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, Auto HDR, panorama. The high quality videos of 2160p@30fps, 1080p@60fps, 720p@120fps can be recorded. The other facilities includes HDR and dual-video recording. The Secondary camera of 5 MP supports upto1440p@30fps, dual video call, Auto HDR. The front camera is very good for taking occasional selfies and video chats.
Performance :- The Samsung Galaxy S6 smartphone is powered by Exynos 7420CPU with Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & Quad-core 2.1 GHz Cortex-A57 -core processor and 3 GB RAM. It comes with 32GB/64GB/128GB internal storage and does not support microSD card. We did not experience any lag while navigating through the phone's menu, browsing the web and multimedia and scrolling inside apps. Connectivity features of the device include 2G, 3G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB 2.0. The external speaker also offers loud and good quality sound output. With 2550mAh battery, the phone lasts about a full day with moderate to high usage including about a few hours of making calls, playing games, clicking some pictures, listening to music and browsing the web.
